Evolved from and improved on the Maestro Plus generation, the Baratza Encore boasts 40 individual grind settings ranging from medium-fine to coarse. Though not ideal for espresso, it's great for many of the most popular brew methods such as Chemex, pour over, siphon, Espro Press, Aeropress and more.
Its 40mm hardened steel conical burrs are driven by a powerful 240-watt DC motor, connected by Baratza's second generation adjustable gearbox. Both the 8-ounce bean hopper and the 5-ounce grounds bin are coated to reduce static build-up and exposure to UV rays. Operating this small but sturdy grinder is as easy as turning the on/off switch on its side or pressing the Grind-On-Demand pulse button on its front.
