Description
The redesigned 3/8M (metric) boiler safety valve for Rancilio (and other applicable) commercial espresso machines.
Manufactured by Nuova General Instruments. This valve is a direct replacement for part #10.060.514.
Technicians Tip: If steam is emitting from the safety valve, it means the internal seal of the valve is worn and must be replaced. If hot water pours out, the boiler is overfilling--either due to a tarnished/dirty boiler water level probe or a cracked heat-exchanger (due to freezing).
The Metric "1/4" thread is actually about 1/2 inch across and the Metric "3/8" is actually about 5/8 inch across for reference purposes.
